Enrichment

At Sacred Heart, we believe in the holistic education of our children: mind, body, and spirit.  We offer various enrichment opportunities that strengthen these attributes in our learners.

 Music Education 

Mr. Suggs shares his love of music and movement through interactive and engaging music lessons.  From rudimentary rhythms to advanced piano study, our students musical experiences are vast and diverse. Mr. Suggs also heads our school choir who bring their musical talents to our weekly Mass celebrations. 

Technology

Ms. Lafferty guides our learners in cultivating 21st-Century Learning Skills including coding, robotics, website design, and graphic design.

 

Physical Education

Mr. Suggs helps students understand the importance of physical health through rigorous exercise, healthy eating, and body awareness.  Students participate in an exciting variety of sports and other athletic opportunities in this class.
 

 

Visual Arts

Mrs. Lafferty invites our learners to explore their creativity as they investigate the many different modes of self-expression through art. Inspired by famous movements in art history, our learners experiment with different medium, tools, and styles.  We love to exhibit our artwork throughout the school and even in our larger community.

ADW Band Program

Students in 4-8th grade may chose to participate in the ADW Band Program. Students practice during the school day and once-a-week after school. They prepare two band concerts (Christmas and Spring) and compete in one ADW Band competition!
